The Opportunity:

IBRI is seeking a student interested in project coordination, operations, research administration, or strategy. The intern will help teams stay organized, track progress, and move projects forward.

Program Dates: May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027

Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2026. For priority consideration, apply by October 15, 2026.

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Stipend: This internship includes a stipend of $9,650 for the full program, disbursed in bi-weekly installments on or before the 7th and 22nd of each month

Responsibilities:

• Help create timelines, agendas, meeting notes, and action item trackers.
• Support coordination across research, operations, finance, grants, and partner teams.
• Prepare simple status updates, dashboards, and summaries.
• Track deadlines, risks, and follow-up items.
• Organize project files and shared resources.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in project management, business, operations, life sciences, public health, communications, or a related field.
• Interest in project coordination, operations, research administration, strategy, or nonprofit management.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to track details, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to the full duration of the internship.
